A fresh and antiseptic soap useful to help guard against infection and to repel insects. This makes it a perfect soap to take camping. It is also useful when the mozzies or midges are out, or when children have cuts or sores on their skin. Contains neem oil, a natural insecticide & insect deterring, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal pure essential oils.

This is a specialised soap, designed to lather well in sea water and also to attract fish. It's the perfect soap for fishermen and boaties to take out on the water or bring camping. Contains fish attracting pure essential oil of Chinese star anise, together with anti-bacterial tea tree and pine, with pumice for extra cleansing power.

Extra coconut oil is used in this soap to provide the boosted lather required for sea water use. The soap is super fatted with mango butter to counteract any dryness.

A rich, sensual, relaxing and exotic soap made in homage to impressive golden moons rising in splendour over Roebuck Bay. The moon is very important in Broome, since the town is surrounded by water and the moon's phases are used to calculate the tides, always important for fishing, boating and all activities by the ocean.

Colour is predominantly gold, with pearl marble. Contains pure essential oils of ylang ylang, patchouli, orange, tangerine, petitgrain, cedarwood, may chang and frankincense.

This soap evokes Earth from outer space, calling for a caring fresh breath after the world has just paused, a new beginning of proper respect for our Mother. 

Gaia soap had a mind of its own! We tried to create a Sun over Sea soap to match our WA honey myrtle + lime + orange collection of beautiful products evoking WA sun setting over our glorious coastline, something all West Australians understand. But twice, the colours of blue, yellow & white which we chose evolved into beautiful visions of Earth as seen from outer space. What was being said here? What was insisting on coming through?

This playful fruity soap celebrates Broome's crazy, hot, exuberant November mango season. This soap is fragranced with a fresh zesty high class mango fragrant oil, not so sweet.

Go Mango used to be a limited edition soap (only available late September to January) but it proved so popular we are now offering it year round.  

Made with saponified West Australian extra virgin olive oil & cold pressed coconut oil, certified sustainable palm & castor oils & cosmetic grade colours. With mango fragrant oil. 

This soap looks and smells happy, vibrant with sun and oranges. Wash away sadness and lather up happiness and gratitude.

A bit of history - we first made Happy soap in 2004 to test the reverse osmosis water system we had installed in our new premises at Harriet Road. We were so happy to have moved in and we gave all this first soap away. But our customers wanted more, so Happy Soap became one of our favourites.

We are excited to present these exquisitely moulded and gift packaged soaps - the top of our range of high class cold process hand made soaps. We assure you, nothing like this exists anywhere else in the world! Essential oils have been doubled for these and care taken to present them well, with an explanatory pamphlet explaining the science about what these are in nature, Hidden Valley's story of creating them, and the ingredients and usage inside.

We have had moulds created in the shape of the heart urchin tests (skeletons) often found on the beach near Broome after peak tides. These shapes fit perfectly into your hand, and have the most delicate patterns on their surface. Broome people often collect and showcase them in their homes. Alison has wanted to make soaps and shampoos from them for many years.

The soap itself is designed to be a luxurious version of our Pearl Soap, palm free and exquisitely fragranced with our classic Peace pure essential oil blend. This is a blend of pure essential oils of rosewood, rose geranium, palma rosa, patchouli, frankincense, tangerine and lemongrass. But these fragrances have been doubled to be stronger than our normal Pearl soap. The soap is handmade via cold process, finished with cosmetic grade pearl mica. Still the most natural and luxurious way to wash!

What's the deal with Palm oil?

We tried very hard to ditch palm oil, being fully concerned about the situation with loss of habitat for orang utangs in SE Asia. However, palm oil is a really important ingredient for hardness and we found it impossible to replace all of it. Our solution was to reduce it as much as possible and source only Certified Sustainable Palm Oil which we pay quite a bit more for than regular palm oil.  Truly, half the goods in our supermarkets contain palm - handmade cold process soapmakers use an infintissimal amount compared to the big food and soap manufacturers such as Nestle and Lever & Kitchen. Several years ago we experimented (loyal customers may remember!) with a palm free Pearl Maxima. However we weren’t happy with the result and most people were reluctant to pay the extra cost. As much as we would love to see our whole soap range become palm free, we’re reluctant to make all the soaps this way for this reason.

A soap to assist in the transformation from ego based duality toward unity and opening the loving heart.  With Flossey sea salt and added emollients - mango butter and Avocado Dry Skin Nourishing Cream, with citrine cyrstal essence and carefully chosen pure essential oils including rose for the heart. The salt is not scratchy at all. An ideal soap to use after stressful events, contact with troubled people, or emotional upheavals, to refresh, revive and uplift the energy field. Perfect for energy healers between clients. Don't forget to add the power of clear intention!
