Julia and her parents have been busy little bees in the workshop, stocking up our shelves with lots of our much-loved Soybeam Candles! 🐝

These little gems are plant-powered, beautifully scented and made with vegan soy wax, with 4% essential oils for a gorgeous, natural fragrance. They burn up to 50% longer than regular paraffin candles.

We really do love making these too. Each one comes in a beautiful, clear Monaco glass container with a lid - perfect to reuse once your candle has finished. They make lovely, luxurious gifts, or a little treat for yourself.

Saltwater Country! 

Now that’s what we call true Saltwater Country! Our Julia captured these incredible drone shots whilst camping at Barred Creek on the Peninsula last weekend. Just a gentle reminder of who really reigns supreme in the Kimberley waters.

We made our Saltwater Country Soap this way - inspired by the power of nature up here in the North - the vivid colours, the crystal-clear turquoise waters, balmy breezes and coastal paperbark landscapes of the coast. Each bar features striking swirls of turquoise, ultramarine, white, and ocean blue.

Crafted with nourishing plant oils, Saltwater Country Soap creates a creamy, gentle lather that cleanses without drying the skin, making it suitable for sensitive skins and everyday use.

This soap is naturally scented with pure essential oils of peppermint, spearmint, lime, niaouli & cypress.

🐾 Cause for Paws & Freshly Stamped Dog Shampoo

A few weeks ago, Matso’s hosted Cause for Paws 2026, SAFE Broome’s annual fundraising event - and what a wonderful afternoon it was!

Hidden Valley was very happy to support the event by donating some of our products for the raffle. There were hundreds of people there enjoying the afternoon, with bouncy castles, face painting, colouring competitions, lucky dips, live auctions, raffles and, of course, lots of adorable kittens and dogs.

Abby, one of SAFE Broome’s wonderful volunteers, told us they were nearly at $20,000 raised - an amazing effort! With around 90 animals currently in foster homes in Broome, SAFE is always looking for more people to get involved, whether that's through fostering, volunteering or simply spreading the word. We've been busy making fresh batches of our Solid Dog Shampoo, which we hand stamp here at Hidden Valley HQ.

This has been a favourite with dog lovers for many years. It's a novel little shampoo bar - soap-free, pH-neutral and sulphate-free. Made with the sort of mild, high-quality ingredients you'd expect in a gentle dog shampoo, without the need for any preservatives.

We also add neem oil, traditionally used as a natural insect repellent, along with pure essential oils to help keep skin feeling fresh and soothed. The neem and Lemon Gum are especially handy for helping deter insects.

It cleans beautifully and leaves fur feeling soft and silky.

A handy little bar for anyone who shares their home with a four-legged member of the family.
