Think of Healing Cream as an all purpose safe first aid cream for most skin problems - a herbal antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and healing cream for topical application to sores, bites, burns, stings, rashes, boils, cracked skin, eczema etc. Many people with eczema have found it useful as a harmless maintenance cream to keep skin moist and eczema at bay, reserving their use of cortisone creams for times when the eczema is really nasty.

It is also a restorative heavy duty hand cream for people who work with their hands (use at night as the cream is heavy, almost like an ointment). For instance, around Broome workers cleaning pearlshell need something effective to use on nicks and scratches and the effects of salt water.

We first made Happy soap in 2004 to test the reverse osmosis water system we had installed in our new premises at Harriet Road. We were so happy to have moved in and we gave all this first soap away. But our customers wanted more, so Happy Soap became one of our favourites.

How to Use

Apply liberally and evenly to exposed skin before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or after swimming—this is not completely waterproof. Because of the tint, SkinSmart can double as a natural foundation. For full sun-days, consider adding a thicker zinc cream on high-exposure areas like the nose.

It contains the same sleep inducing pure lavender and Roman chamomile but we added a tiny dash of peppermint for the boys, and made it blue, with none of that girly fairy dust glitter! It is a benign cream made with no nut oils, a safe vegetable emulsifier and plant derived preservative.

Our soap hearts, cut from our excess top soap layer, are extremely popular as little touches to share love and something useful. We have packaged these up in bags of 10. It's not possible to choose - we try to combine a variety of different soaps. Perfect as guest soaps or little thank yous. They may vary a little in thickness, according to the season and soap recipe.

Classic 3 toed dinosaur (Theropod) footprint shaped soap, cut from our top layer of excess soap. We use either Sandalwood or Ancient Rock to suggest the colours of the beasts which once roamed around Broome and have their footprints recorded in the surrounding sandstone. (These are one of many different types of dinosaur with recorded prints around Broome.) This is a nifty idea for children, approximately  9.5 x 6 cm.
