This new aroma is intended to help create relaxation, beauty, inner growth and peace. May all who visit or reside in Broome experience the way this place allows us to relax, to breathe out, to shed worries, to see beauty everywhere, to connect, to grow, to feel the rhythm of the earth & moon & tides, to enjoy the marvellous coastline, and to find inner peace.

It is a rich, warm and floral blend. Most locals and many visitors who have driven up to Broome from the Pilbara would have experienced the way the strong masculine energy of the Pilbara morphs when you meet the saltwater paperbarks of Roebuck Plains. 

You may have encountered a new, softer, more marine aroma, and felt the ocean nearby, the gentle sea breezes, and perhaps felt the more beautiful feminine energy of Broome. She is surrounded by water on three sides, and you see and hear beauty everywhere – the coastlines, the wide amazing skies, the extraordinary turquoise and pindan colours, the smell of frangipanis, the lovely mixed up races of people, the special Broome music. You relax into the rhythm of the huge tides, the powerful moon which pulls them, and walking barefoot on the white sands grounds us in wholesome ways.

As you may know, Broome attracts far more than its fair share of artists, musicians, intuitives, healers, and creators, all drawn to this place which inspires them, and all sharing their gifts with us all. There is magic here.  We first created this blend as a signature aroma for the Mangrove Hotel, to use as a room spray in their rooms, helping guests settle and relax. But we liked it enough to offer it to all and to include it in a soap, Spirit of Broome. The florals are rose and ylang ylang, the base is vetiver, cedarwood and vanilla. There is tropical cardamom and cinnamon, divine frankincense, warm rounding orange and bergamot and a top note of grapefruit. Most of these essential oilsare deeply grounding, relaxing, calming or uplifting, designed to wrap you in a warm and loving embrace.
