We use either Sandalwood or Ancient Rock to suggest the colours of the beasts which once roamed around Broome and have their footprints recorded in the surrounding sandstone. (These are one of many different types of dinosaur with recorded prints around Broome.) This is a nifty idea for children, approximately  9.5 x 6 cm.

How It’s Made

Happy Soap is handmade using traditional cold-process methods and carefully air-dried for several weeks. This slow curing process creates a mild, long-lasting bar with a creamy lather that is gentle on the skin.

As well as making good soap at a physical level, we aim to create soap that cleanses and nourishes the human spirit. We invoke divine blessings and beautiful qualities for every soap we make, adding crystal essences to prompt us about the blessings we seek. It is a very great honour to apply energetic blessings to a physical product which will be used in a very personal way. It is our way of helping the world become a better place.

A Little Bit of History

Happy Soap was first created in 2004 to test a new reverse osmosis water system installed at our Harriet Road premises. We gave the first batches away, but customers loved it so much it quickly became one of our most requested soaps.

It is an aromatherapeutic cream to rub on a child's inner wrist to assist littlies to go to sleep. It contains the same sleep inducing pure lavender and Roman chamomile but we added a tiny dash of peppermint for the boys, and made it blue, with none of that girly fairy dust glitter! It is a benign cream made with no nut oils, a safe vegetable emulsifier and plant derived preservative.

Apply liberally and evenly to exposed skin before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or after swimming—this is not completely waterproof. Because of the tint, SkinSmart can double as a natural foundation. For full sun-days, consider adding a thicker zinc cream on high-exposure areas like the nose.
