Crafted in small batches in Broome, Cable Beach Sunset Soap captures the calming beauty of Broome’s iconic sunsets. Made with nourishing oils, a warm and uplifting essential oil blend, and minimal-waste packaging, it gently cleanses and uplifts both skin and spirit.

This artisan soap is as gentle on the planet as it is on your skin. A rich yet gentle lather makes it suitable for most skin types, while its grounding scent and striking appearance make it a beautiful self-care ritual or thoughtful gift.
As well as making good soap at a physical level, we aim to create soap that cleanses and nourishes the human spirit. We invoke divine blessings and beautiful qualities for every soap we make, adding crystal essences to prompt us about the blessings we seek. It is a very great honour to apply energetic blessings to a physical product which will be used in a very personal way. It is our way of helping the world become a better place.
Work the soap between your hands with water to create a lather. Wash hands, body, or face as desired, then rinse thoroughly. To extend the life of your soap, store on a draining soap dish between uses.
Inspired by evening walks on Cable Beach, this soap was created to bring the warmth and tranquility of Broome’s sunsets into your daily cleanse.
Saponified West Australian extra virgin olive oil & cold pressed coconut oil, certified sustainable palm* (see FAQs) & castor oils & cosmetic grade colours. With pure essential oils of lavender, rose geranium, rosewood, palma rosa, vetiver and patchouli.
Is Cable Beach Sunset Soap suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our gentle blend of natural oils and butters, combined with soothing botanicals, makes it suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. Always patch test first if you have very reactive skin.
Will the scent last on my skin?
Yes, the natural essential oil blend provides a light, lingering fragrance without synthetic perfumes.
Is it palm-oil free?
No, but we only use sustainably sourced RSPO-certified palm oil, chosen for its moisturising properties and stability in soap making. We tried very hard to ditch palm oil from all of our soaps, being fully concerned about the situation with loss of habitat for orangutans in SE Asia. However, palm oil is a really important ingredient for hardness and we found it impossible to replace all of it. Our solution was to reduce it as much as possible and source only Certified Sustainable Palm Oil which we pay quite a bit more for than regular palm oil. Truly, half the goods in our supermarkets contain palm - hand made cold process soapmakers use an infinitesimal amount compared to the big food and soap manufacturers such as Nestle and Lever & Kitchen.
How long does a bar last?
With daily use, a bar of Cable Beach Sunset Soap typically lasts 4–6 weeks. For the longest life, store it on a draining soap dish away from standing water.

We first made Happy soap in 2004 to test the reverse osmosis water system we had installed in our new premises at Harriet Road. We were so happy to have moved in and we gave all this first soap away. But our customers wanted more, so Happy Soap became one of our favourites.

Luxury Heart Urchin Pearl Soap
We are excited to present these exquisitely moulded and gift packaged soaps - the top of our range of high class cold process hand made soaps. We assure you, nothing like this exists anywhere else in the world! Essential oils have been doubled for these and care taken to present them well, with an explanatory pamphlet explaining the science about what these are in nature, Hidden Valley's story of creating them, and the ingredients and usage inside.
We have had moulds created in the shape of the heart urchin tests (skeletons) often found on the beach near Broome after peak tides. These shapes fit perfectly into your hand, and have the most delicate patterns on their surface. Broome people often collect and showcase them in their homes. Alison has wanted to make soaps and shampoos from them for many years.
The soap itself is designed to be a luxurious version of our Pearl Soap, palm free and exquisitely fragranced with our classic Peace pure essential oil blend. This is a blend of pure essential oils of rosewood, rose geranium, palma rosa, patchouli, frankincense, tangerine and lemongrass. But these natural fragrances have been doubled to be stronger than our normal Pearl soap. The soap is handmade via cold process, finished with cosmetic grade pearl mica. Still the most natural and luxurious way to wash!
