A fresh and antiseptic soap useful to help guard against infection and to repel insects. This makes it a perfect soap to take camping. It is also useful when the mozzies or midges are out, or when children have cuts or sores on their skin. Contains neem oil, a natural insecticide & insect deterring, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal pure essential oils.

Handmade using the traditional cold pressed method with each bar having a 3 to 4 week curing time which results in a firm, mild, creamy, moisturising soap, with rich lather even in hard water.

Gentle enough for sensitive skin.

Follow with Midgie Magic | Insect Bite Relief Cream to calm itchy insect bite areas.

Made with saponified West Australian extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed coconut oil & macademia oils, with pure essential oils of eucalyptus citriodora, spike lavender, lemon scented tea tree, niaouli, peppermint and citronella.

Broome Bug Soap

I thought I’d give the **Broome Bug Soap ** a go on our recent camping trip to **Moreton Island**, where the sandflies usually have a field day on me.

I used the soap when showering at night and found it worked pretty well. I still got chased by the sandflies, but I definitely seemed to get bitten **a bit less than usual**, which was a nice change. It’s not a miracle cure on its own, but it definitely helped.

Used together with the **Midgie Magic cream**, the combo worked really well — the soap to reduce the bites and the cream for instant relief on the ones that got through. Because of that, **both are now permanent additions to my camping kit**.

If you’re heading to buggy areas like the coast or islands, it’s well worth giving the soap a try alongside a good bite relief cream.

Thanks a lot Wayne, that's great the Broome Bug soap worked well for you. We would advise adding our Pestoff spray repellent when the midgies/sandflies or mozzies are bad. The soap helps but may not be enough when the bities are out in force. Midgie Magic is our best selling product, with numerous positive reviews too. I was originally gifted this soap a year ago as I am
a magnet for mosquitoes. It is brilliant I used it in cairns and recently in Bali … not one bite. While still on holidays i purchased 2 more bars
