Midgie Magic (formerly Sandfly Salve) was designed many years ago to help newcomers to Broome cope with biting midges and other insects. This cream is to put on after you have been bitten, as subsequent swelling, itching and infection following bites is the main problem. The cream helps to soothe, reduce the itch, disinfect and help bites with natural anti-inflammatory ingredients. Works also on bee stings and even, so we are told, on Scottish midgies!

Apply frequently until bites have healed. Can be used in conjunction with Herbal Skin Calm, a cooling soothing gel for all itchy skin conditions
Please note that an unlucky few will have severe reactions to midge bites, requiring medical attention and anti-histamines.

My Dad first introduced me to midgie magic. It relieves the awful itch and smells great. You can feel it beginning to work as soon as you spread it on.
We have been using Midgie Magic for years. It is the best product for insect bites hands down. And it helps enormously with Tick bites!

Midgie Magic a Hidden Valley product...does it work?
After enjoying three nights of camping at Willie Creek in a swag on the rocks (with sighted crocs lurking under the mangroves) I realised that I must a culinary delicacy for those darned midgie and mosquitos. I stopped counting at 150 bites, needless to say, extremely itchy beyond belief.
I tried everything to soothe them and to stop the itch, all the usual products (Vinegar, Isopropyl alcohol, my usual favourite and fantastic if you get them straight away), but nothing worked.
Until...I spoke to a local at Total Work Wear and she suggested Midgie Magic, because it is the ONLY thing she has found that works.
And it does...and I am very, very thankful about that. A natural product made in Broome that works wonders. Thank you Hidden Valley for your wonderful and aptly name product!

Honestly, Midgie Magic is just the best. Bites stop itching immediately and disappear overnight. I live on Qld and had bought some years ago when visiting Broome. I was totally thrilled to still be able to order it on the internet. Love these products.
